Price of whitening:

  • The cost varies between 130€ and 400€, depending on the type of treatment and the patient’s needs.

Recommendations:

  • Reduce consumption of coffee, tea, red wine and avoid smoking, as they increase staining and yellowing of the teeth.

Types of dental whitening:

Whitening with splint:

  • It is performed at home under the supervision of the dentist.
  • Splints with whitening gel are used for 6-8 hours a day.
  • The treatment lasts between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on the initial shade of the teeth.

Laser whitening:

  • It is performed in a session of approximately 1 hour in the clinic.
  • The whitening gel is activated with laser technology to reduce several shades quickly and safely.
  • Ideal for patients with high dental sensitivity.

A gel based on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is used which, when activated by laser light, releases oxygen that helps to break down the pigment molecules in the teeth, thus discoloring them.

LED bleaching :

  • Hydrogen peroxide gel is applied and activated by an LED light.
  • The treatment lasts about 45 minutes and can be combined with home whitening.
